Multi-store POS: every shop, one back office
RetailPOS Studio is a multi-store POS: one business, one catalogue and one login, with stock, registers, staff and prices kept per location. Move stock between shops with a transfer instead of a phone call, compare sales across stores in one report, and give each manager access to their own shop only. It works the same whether your shops are on one street or in Dubai and Lahore.

What is a multi-store POS?
In short
A multi-store POS runs several shops as one business: a shared product catalogue with stock, registers, staff and sometimes prices kept separately per location. Owners see combined and per-store reports, move stock between shops with transfers, and control who can see or change each location.

Why shops open a second location — and what changes
General retail
Two variety stores, one buyer
One person buys for both shops. With a shared catalogue they place one purchase order, receive it into the main store, and transfer part of it to the second shop. Each shop sees its own stock, and the owner sees the total before deciding to buy more.
Gift shops
A shop plus a seasonal kiosk
Many gift sellers open a mall kiosk for the holidays. Add it as a location with its own register, transfer a starting stock, and transfer back what's left when the kiosk closes. Sales from the kiosk appear in the same reports as the main shop.
Phone shops
Handsets moving between branches
A customer wants a model that one branch has and another doesn't. Transfer it, and the IMEI travels with the unit, so the selling branch knows exactly which handset it received and the warranty is recorded against the right sale.
How it works
How do stores share one system?
- 01
One catalogue, stock per location
Products are created once and stocked per location. A new item added at head office is available to every shop, and each shop's count is independent. You can also make a product available only at certain locations, useful for a branch with a different customer base.
- 02
Transfers with a paper trail
A stock transfer records which items left which shop, when, and who sent them. Stock drops at the sending store and rises at the receiving one, with optional shipping charges recorded. No more borrowed stock nobody wrote down.
- 03
Prices per store where you need them
Selling price groups let one location charge differently, for example a tourist-area branch or a wholesale counter, while the catalogue stays the same. Each location can also have its own invoice layout, receipt footer and tax settings.
- 04
Roles locked to a location
Staff accounts are tied to the locations they work in. A cashier at the airport branch sees only that branch; a manager may see two; the owner sees all of them, with purchase prices and profit visible only to the roles you choose.

What goes wrong when shops run separately
Two catalogues drift apart
Separate systems per shop mean a price change is made in one and forgotten in the other. One catalogue fixes that.
Borrowed stock disappears
Items carried across town without a transfer leave one shop short and the other over, and neither count is right.
Customers lose their points
If a customer's points only exist at one shop, they stop bothering. Shared customers keep points valid everywhere.
No single view of profit
Adding up reports from two systems at month end is slow and error-prone. Combined reports answer it in seconds.
