01How is my online store created?Day to day
It's generated automatically from the products you add to RetailPOS Studio. Names, prices, photos, variants and stock levels come straight from the catalogue, so as soon as your products exist, your store does too. There's no separate store builder and no second catalogue to keep in sync.
02Does the online store cost extra?Cost & billing
No. The auto-generated store is included in every plan, from Counter upwards. You only pay more if you want the managed website, which is a custom-designed site built for you by our web team.
03Will stock on the store match the shop?Day to day
Yes. The store reads from the same stock record as the counter, so an item sold in the shop reduces what the store shows. That stops you selling online something that left the shelf an hour ago.
04Can I hide some products from the online store?Day to day
Yes. You choose which products or categories appear online. Many phone shops hide high-value handsets and show accessories, while gift shops often publish everything except seasonal stock not yet on display.
05Can customers pay online?Cost & billing
Online payments run through a payment provider you connect, in the same way card payments in the shop run through your own processor. Ask on your demo which providers are available in your market. Customers can also place orders for pickup and pay in the shop.
06Can I use my own domain name for the store?Day to day
Yes, you can point a domain you own at your store. If you take the managed website, we set up the domain for you and link the store from the site.
07Does the store work with WooCommerce?Day to day
Yes. If you already run a WooCommerce site, RetailPOS Studio can sync products and stock with it, so you can keep your existing site instead of using the generated store. Many owners use the generated store until they're ready for something bigger.
08What's the difference between the store and the managed website?Day to day
The store is a catalogue people can browse and order from, built automatically. The managed website is a full site with your story, services, repair prices, location pages and marketing forms, designed and maintained for you. They work together: the website links to the store.
