01Why is pricing per location instead of per register?Day to day
Because retail owners think in shops, not terminals. Each location includes registers (two on Counter, three on Stockroom, unlimited on Chain), so a busy weekend doesn't mean paying for another seat. Extra registers on Counter or Stockroom are available as a small add-on, and adding a second shop is simply another location on the same account.
02Why are prices different in the USA, the UAE and Pakistan?Cost & billing
Each market is priced on its own for local buying power and competition, not converted from dollars. That's why Pakistan prices are far lower in rupees, and UAE prices are set in round dirham amounts. The country switcher shows the real price for your market, and you are billed in that currency.
03Are UAE prices shown with VAT included?Cost & billing
Yes. UAE prices include 5% VAT, as UAE consumers and businesses expect to see the full amount. In the USA, sales tax is added at checkout where it applies, and in Pakistan prices are plus applicable sales tax. The note under each price says which applies to the market you have selected.
04How does annual billing work?Cost & billing
Pay for a year upfront and you get 2 months free compared with paying monthly. The annual price is shown as a monthly equivalent so you can compare. If you cancel within the first 30 days of an annual plan, you get a prorated refund of the unused part.
05Are there any hidden fees?Cost & billing
No. There's no setup fee for the software, no contract, no cancellation fee and no markup on card payments, because you use your own card processor. The only one-time fee anywhere is the managed website setup fee of $250, and the bundle waives it. Moving your data from another POS costs nothing.
06What happens when the free trial ends?Cost & billing
You choose a plan and confirm payment, or you let the trial lapse. We never charge automatically at the end of the 21-day trial. If you lapse and come back shortly afterwards, your trial data is still there to pick up where you left off.
07Which plan should a phone shop choose?Day to day
Most phone and electronics shops choose Stockroom at $65 per location, because it includes IMEI and serial tracking, warranties, repair job sheets, purchase orders and supplier ledgers. Counter suits shops selling mainly accessories without serial numbers. Owners with two or more shops move to Chain for transfers and central control.
08Is the online store an extra cost?Cost & billing
No. The auto-generated online store comes with every plan at no extra charge. The managed website at $85 a month is a separate, done-for-you site designed for your shop, and it's included in the bundle.
09Can I pay in installments or by bank transfer?Cost & billing
Monthly billing is the installment option: pay month to month with no commitment. In Pakistan we work with bank transfer and local wallets for subscription payments, and in the UAE with cards and bank transfer; ask on your demo for the options in your market.
