How do I publish my online store?

Your RetailPOS Studio online store is generated from your catalogue. Add photos and descriptions, choose what to show, and share the link.

Every RetailPOS Studio plan includes an online store generated automatically from your products: names, prices, photos and stock. You don’t build pages or retype the catalogue. When you change a price at the shop, the store shows the new price.

Before you start

  • Products imported or added, each with a category.
  • Good photos: square images, plain background, at least 800 pixels wide.
  • Your logo and the shop’s contact details filled in on the business and location settings.

Step by step

  1. Add photos and short descriptions to the products you want to show. Products without photos still appear, but they sell less.
  2. Choose which products and categories appear. Hide items you only sell in store, such as repair parts.
  3. Check your business name, logo, address and phone in the settings. They appear on the store.
  4. Open the store link from the dashboard and look at it on your phone.
  5. Share the link on WhatsApp, Instagram and Google Business Profile.

What customers see

  • Your categories and products with photos, prices and availability.
  • Prices in your currency, shown the way your market expects. UAE stores show VAT-inclusive prices.
  • Your contact details so they can call, message or visit.

Upgrading to a managed website

If you want your own designed pages, a custom domain, blog posts or local SEO work, the managed website is a done-for-you upgrade, and it’s included in the Studio Bundle.

Common problems

  • A product is missing from the store. It’s hidden, inactive or in a hidden category.
  • The price is different from the shop. You use a separate selling price group for that location. Check which price group the store uses.
  • Photos look stretched. Use square photos so every card lines up.

Tips

  • Put your ten best sellers first. Most visitors only look at the top of the page.
  • Update photos when packaging changes. Customers notice.
  • Keep stock counts accurate. The store shows availability from your stock, so a recount after a busy weekend keeps online shoppers from asking for items you’ve already sold.
  • Write descriptions the way you’d explain the product at the counter: what it is, who it suits, what’s in the box.
